From the PBS Newshour, here is a wonderful look at the work of Oregon photographer Christopher Burkett. He uses multiple negative masks to adjust the contrast and color in his 8X10 transparencies to make expressive, luminescent prints on Cibachrome paper. And his printing process is so refined that the color separations for his books are made from his prints, not the original transparencies. But he is running out of time. Cibachrome is out of production and his existing stocks are disappearing.
